Employment law is the area of law that deals with the legal relationships between employers and employees – individual labor law – but also with relationships between employers and unions or works councils and other associations that represent employee interests – collective labor law. I can help you here by checking or drafting employment contracts, checking employment references or warnings and other documents. I can advise you as to whether termination is unlawful and whether it is worth filing a claim for protection against dismissal or whether you as an employer (in Germany) are allowed to terminate an employee. Of course, I can also prepare and draft appropriate termination notices.
